Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Felty app for iPad (“Felty”, “the app”) and the website feltydraw.com collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Felty is made by Forty Seven and Trade LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“we”, “us”).

The short version

• You can use Felty without giving us your name or email.
• Your coloring progress stays on your iPad.
• Signing in with Apple is optional. You can delete your account from the app at any time.
• Payments go through Apple. We never see your card details.
• The free version shows ads from Google AdMob and its partners. Ads are personalized only if you allow it.

Information we collect

Guest account

When you first open Felty, the app quietly creates a guest account on our server. It is a random identifier plus the sign-in tokens the app uses to talk to our server. It contains no name, email or contact details.

Sign in with Apple (optional)

If you choose to sign in with Apple, Apple gives us a stable user identifier for Felty and, if you agree to share it, your email address. You can choose “Hide My Email”, in which case we receive a private relay address. We do not receive your Apple ID password. We use this only to keep your account and your Felty+ purchase available on all your devices.

Purchases

When you buy Felty+, the payment is processed by Apple. Apple sends our server a signed record of the transaction: transaction identifiers, the product, the purchase date, whether it was a test purchase, and refund status if a refund happens. We check Apple’s signature and store this record to give you Felty+ and to restore it. We never receive your payment card or billing details.

Your coloring

Pictures you color and your progress are stored on your iPad only and are not uploaded to our server. If you save a picture to Photos, iPadOS asks for permission to add it to your library. Felty does not read your photo library.

Technical data

Like any server, ours records basic request information: IP address, time of the request, app version and device type. We use it to run the service, keep it secure and fix problems, and we keep it only as long as needed for that.

Advertising

If you do not have Felty+, the app shows ads, including optional ads you can watch to get a hint. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which can pick an ad from partner networks: Unity Ads, Mintegral and Liftoff, and the Yandex Advertising Network for users in Russia. These companies may collect, directly from your device:

• device identifiers: the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) only if you allow tracking, and otherwise identifiers that are not shared across apps of different companies;
• IP address and approximate location derived from it;
• information about the ads you see and how you interact with them;
• device and app information and diagnostic data, such as crashes and performance of the ad code.

They use this data to show and measure ads, prevent fraud and, if you allow it, personalize ads. Their own privacy policies apply: Google, Unity, Mintegral, Liftoff, Yandex.

Your choices about ads

• Tracking. Felty asks for permission to track through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. Personalized ads are shown only if you allow it. You can change this at any time in iPad Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• EU, UK and Switzerland. Before showing ads, Felty asks for your consent through Google’s consent form. You can change your choice in Felty: Settings → Privacy Settings.
• If you do not give consent, you still see ads, but they are not personalized.
• Felty+ removes all ads.

How we use information

We use the information above to provide the app and your account, deliver and restore Felty+, show ads in the free version, keep the service secure, answer your support requests and meet legal obligations. Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are performing our contract with you (account, purchases), your consent (personalized ads), and our legitimate interest in running and protecting the service (technical data, non-personalized ads).

Who we share it with

• Apple, for Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases.
• Advertising partners listed above, which collect data directly from the app as described.
• Our hosting provider, which runs the servers that store our data on our behalf.
• Authorities, when required by law.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Under some US state laws, letting ad networks personalize ads may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising”. You can opt out of it by not allowing tracking, as described above.

How long we keep it and how to delete it

• We keep your account for as long as you use Felty.
• If you signed in with Apple, tap Delete Account in Felty’s Settings. We immediately delete your account, your Apple sign-in link and your email, and revoke Felty’s access with Apple. Copies in our backups are removed within 14 days.
• Guest accounts hold no personal details. To have one deleted from our server, email us.
• We keep App Store transaction records, no longer linked to a deleted account, where needed for accounting, fraud prevention and legal reasons.
• Deleting the app removes your coloring progress from your iPad.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. Email us at support@feltydraw.com and we will answer within the time the law requires. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Felty is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Where data is processed

We are based in the United States. Our servers and our partners may process data in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from yours. We protect it as this policy describes wherever it is processed.

Security

Data travels between the app and our server over encrypted connections, and access to our servers is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above. For significant changes we will also tell you in the app.
